I primarily work with children and youth of all genders, with a focus on supporting those experiencing trauma, grief, family disruption, and other challenging life experiences. I am especially passionate about helping young people navigate complex family dynamics, better understand their emotions, and develop a stronger sense of safety, confidence, and connection.
My approach is trauma-informed, relationship-based, and culturally grounded. I recognize that children and youth do not always have the words to express what they are experiencing, so I incorporate developmentally appropriate, creative, and play-based approaches that allow them to communicate and process experiences in ways that feel natural and comfortable.
I strive to create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive space where children and youth feel heard, understood, and accepted. I also recognize the important role of families and caregivers and work collaboratively with them when appropriate.
